Ilene Goff Kaufmann

Biography Ilene Goff Kaufmann was born and raised in rural Lapeer, Michigan. She was adopted when she was four years old, along with two of her brothers. She began writing poetry at a very early age. It became a way for her to express her deepest thoughts and feelings. Her love for writing poetry has continued throughout her life. She published "RHYME & REASON: MY LIFE IN POEMS" in 2017, which includes poems about her children, relationships, abuse, as well as moments in her life that brought the greatest joys and the deepest sorrow. After college, Ilene moved to middle Tennessee, where she married and raised her three beautiful daughters. She began writing for them, which can be seen in her poetry. She loves spending time with family, including her five family pets, as well as with her Christian friends and activities. Now as a grandmother, Ilene has found a passion for writing children's books. Watching her two granddaughters, growing up, inspired Ilene to write for them and about them, thus "JAYDEN'S NEW ADVENTURES " was born in 2017!! In it, you'll meet a four year old, blonde haired, blue eyed little girl, named Jayden. She and her puppy, Toby will take you and your child on wonderful adventures where they'll learn about caring, forgiveness, responsibilities and making new friends. Jayden shares her first day of school jitters, getting a new puppy, and the excitement that comes with the birth of her new baby sister, Rylee! And as Jayden grows, your child will be able to grow up with her! Ilene hopes that you and your child will enjoy her first book from "The Jayden and Rylee Series".
